There isn't any question why California is often used in movies and is featured in pop culture. The Golden State is bursting with sunshine and adventure. It is hard to beat the great weather year round, variety of theme parks as well as stunning National Parks located throughout the state.
You’ll be amazed by the state's natural beauty. Some of these sites include the Redwood forest, Joshua Tree, and Big Sur. One will also love to travel to major cities like San Diego, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Add to that great food, amazing road trips, cool camping spots, and incredible sightseeing opportunities.

Language: English is the main language spoken in California. However, Spanish is spoken widely in Southern California.

Credit Cards and Banks: You can pay for pretty much everything with your debit or credit card in California. There are plenty of ATMs in and around the city, and most stores accept Mastercard, Visa, and AMEX.

Best Time to Visit: California actually has a late summer, so you’ll be surprised with some colder, gloomy weather in May and June. July to September is when things start to heat up. October is my all-time favorite month in Southern California. You get the BEST sunsets and have a nice balance of warm and cool weather. Don’t let the winter months put you off visiting – California has the best weather year-around!
