Side hustles are a great way to supplement your income and allow you to have more freedom to spend money on wants rather than your needs. There are numerous side hustle opportunities, whether in-person or online with little upfront costs or major time commitments.
Here are the BEST SIDE HUSTLES to fund your next trip

UBER/LYFT
If you don't mind driving, people, and working when you want—check out Lyft or Uber. Both are super flexible with scheduling, offer bonuses during peak hours, and even insurance protection. If you don't have a car, Uber partners with specific rental car companies to get you on the road.
DONATING PLASMA
I think many people get confused and think donating plasma is the same thing as donating blood. However, plasma is one part of your blood, along with red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, and it sends nutrients and hormones throughout your body. Within the first month, a new donor can make up to $1,000-1,500. After your first 8 donations, compensation decreases to about $100-175/week if you are donating twice a week consistently. If you are donating in the Kansas City at a Biolife Plasma location, please feel free leave them my name as a referral.
ROVER/WAG
A pet-sitting side hustle is super easy and fast to set up and is perfect for animal lovers. You can offer services such as walking, boarding, house sitting, and drop-in visits. Some states and municipalities require permits, so make sure to check the requirements first in your area.
AFFILIATE MARKETING
Affiliate marketing is an amazing way to earn passive income. I currently use an affiliate program called Amazon Associates to link certain Amazon products I love into my personal storefront. I can share my storefront with others and when someone buys an item directly with my affiliate link, I earn a commission. Another great affiliate program is Like to Know It (LTK) where you can link items from various stores.
CARE.COM
One of my favorite jobs I ever had in college was from care.com. I was able to care for a family of 4 boys all under the age of 6 for two-three days a week. The site has job opportunities ranging from babysitting, tutoring, housekeeping, senior and pet care.
FOOD DELIVERY/INSTACART
Right behind ridesharing is delivering food and groceries. If you do not like the thought of various people in your car, this is a great option. One downfall is that there are specific times that you can and can't do it because most cities don't have stores/food chains open at 2 a.m. You may also have to wait in a drive-thru depending on if the dining area is closed which will take longer. Another downfall is there were times, I would accept an instacart order and not be familiar with the grocery store so it would take longer to find items.

GET RID OF UNUSED ITEMS
About twice a year I go through clothes, items, accessories that I no longer use or want and sell them to consignment stores such as Platos Closet, online apps such as Mercari or Poshmark, or on Facebook Marketplace. I have had great luck being able to sell items between these sites and rarely do I have something that doesn't sell.
Other Side Hustles I have used but not tried
TASK RABBIT
Running errands, putting together furniture, moving, and spring cleaning can fall under odd jobs offered on Taskrabbit. There was a time while in Colorado my friends and I wanted to beat the snow storm home so we hired a task rabbit to return our boards since the facility was closed when we got out of the mountains. The app is very easy to use and taskers are able to set their desired hourly rate depending on the job.
TURO HOST
Turo has become one of the most popular ways for individuals to make a passive income. If you have a car that you don't use often, you can rent it out to others. In fact, I have known others who have bought multiple cars just to provide Turo services. They are able to make back the monthly payment and more.
AIRBNB/VRBO HOST
Similar to listing your car, you can also list your house, room, houseboats, camper vans, or any other space you might have where someone could stay. I've even seen listings for backyard for camping locations. The possibilities are limitless.
