Nelson Atkins Museum of Art
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art opened to the public in 1933. Thanks to the immense support and dedication the museum received, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art homes over 42,000 pieces of art that can be seen, experienced, and shared with the public. Visitors will find paintings, architecture, photography, and decorative arts from almost every continent and culture in the world. Many travelers will also pay a visit to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.

National WW1 Museum and Memorial
Established in 1926, the National WWI Museum and Memorial serve as the United States’ official museum for the First World War. After World War I ended, the Liberty Memorial Association (LMA) and the residents of Kansas City raised more than $2.5 million in just ten days in 1919 to create the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Today, visitors from all across the world can walk through the National World War Museum and memorial to witness the Great War’s impact on the world.

Union Station
Union Station was established in 1914 but shut down in the 1980's due to the decrease in train travel. Union Station dedicated its reopening to preserving and collecting artifacts and materials connected to the history of Kansas City.

Country Club Plaza
If you are looking for the ultimate shopping experience, look no further than the Country Club Plaza. The plaza features 15 city blocks of Spanish-inspired architecture, including fountains, designer brand stores, and a variety of restaurants. Romantic horse-drawn carriage ride are offered year round. While the historic Christmas lights are a must see in the winter, taking a gondola in the Brush Creek is a must-do in the summer.

Negro Leagues Baseball Museum
A privately funded museum, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is committed to preserving Negro league baseball history in America. Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead
Established in 1887, the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is one of Kansas's oldest operating children's farms. Guests may also enjoy a nature trail, hayrides, cow milking, goat bottle feeding and much more.

Bar K
