MEXICO
Mexico really has everything from beaches to mountains to volcanos, lakes, caves, waterfalls. While the country does have a reputation of being unsafe, I never ran into any issues while traveling there with friends or solo.

No matter which type of Mexican trip you choose, you will be met with some of the best food in the world, vibrant buildings, and friendly locals that want to help you experience what their country has to offer.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Language: Spanish is the official language of Mexico. However, the government recognizes 68 national languages.

Currency: Peso (MXN) is the official currency of Mexico.

Credit Cards and Banks: Visa, American Express, and Mastercard are widely accepted in Mexico. Travelers will. not have any trouble paying with a card or finding ATM's in larger cities. Be weary of carrying too much cash. Check with your bank to see international fees when swiping your card as well.

Best Time to Visit: Like many places, visiting Mexico will depend on your final destination. Mexico's dry season is from November to April which means lots of sunshine and lower humidity. From August to October there are fewer tourists and lower rates. You will also avoid rainfall and humidity at this time which makes it the perfect place for hikers.
